Hello! Happy April! Spring is definitely here and we've been having a lot of April showers to get ready for those May flowers!
With Spring in the air - I am continuing my Julie Nutting Doll craze! I'm having so much fun creating with these dolls! They sure bring me back to my childhood when I used to play with paper dolls. I loved my Fashion Plates! Do you remember those? Well, these dolls are just as fun, even if they take a little more time to create.
Here are two of my most recent dolls. The first one is based on the Mood Board for Prima's March PPP Challenge. If you'll remember my last post, I created an altered journal cover for the challenge. The Mood Board used shades of pinks and greens. I used Julie's Doll Steffi for this one. I love how she turned out! For my second doll, I used Keira for a doll tag swap. Both tags make me thing of Spring with their soft colors and flower embellishments. I hope you like them as much as I do! Thank you for taking a look at my creations!

Altered Mixed Media Journal Cover
I haven't made a mixed media project in quite a while. I saw that Prima was having a PPP (Prima Product Picks) Challenge for March. So, I decided to get back into mixed media art by altering a journal cover. I used Prima's Mood Board for inspiration. I raided my Flying Unicorn kits for Prima products and this is what I created. I hope you like it!

Going Doll Crazy!
I've been having quite a few good days lately, so I have been playing with my new Julie Nutting Dolls. They remind me of playing with paper dolls as a child and surprisingly, I'm having a lot of fun creating them! Here are a few that I've made.

Some of my art work was published yesterday in The Paper Crafting - Scandinavian Edition. Which is an online Scandinavian paper crafting magazine. I'm so excited and honored to be featured by this magazine. I've never thought this would ever happen to me and my art!

Today, I am sharing a micro-mini album that I made for Elizabeth, my very best friend from grade school. I made it for her a while ago but forgot to post it here in my blog. I used Simple Stories SNAP Color Vibe - Light as the base of the album. Then, I used a sentiment stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, some tiny mini roses and a bit of vintage lace.

Well, it has been awhile since my last post. I am still struggling with Chronic Migraines and Chronic Daily Pain. I was inspired to create a Flip-Fold Shaker Card for the Flying Unicorn's August Shake It Baby - Shaker Card Challenge. I so love shaker cards! I hope you like it!
Products used: I used Prima Romance Novel Collection and Prima Sherwood Rose - Truffle. I used a sentiment stamp from the Butterflies and Sunbeams stamp set by Unity Stamp Company as the background for the shaker element. I also added a bit of lace, some tiny mini roses from I Am Roses, and some colorful microbeads & mini sequins.

StampNation Birthday Bash
Here's my card for the challenge. I used Little B Birthday Dies with several themed paper pads that I had. I also used Stampin' Up! Stamps for the present and birthday hat images, which I stamped in color and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I tried to capture the texture of the embossing, but it didn't show up well. For the final touch, I added a few sequins for "confetti"! I had a lot of fun making this card! I hope you like it.
